Lebron James is KING!

I'm BACK!

So it's been awhile since my last blog. I've been pretty busy. Life is hectic when you're married with two kids. I've just been working a lot and golfing every free day I have. It truly is an addicting sport. I'm not to good but this is my first year so I have an excuse. I do feel like I'm getting better and that's all you can hope for. I'm almost all done getting Brit's xmas present. I can't wait to tell everyone what I got her. She has no idea so I can't spill the beans on here just yet. I will blog about it after christmas though. Other then that I've just been chilling with my family. My kids are getting so big. Kenzie is enjoying dance and school. She's such a smart girl it amazes me. Kylie is still crazy as ever. She's starting to talk a little and it's so funny the way she talks. Life is good. i can't thank God enough for everything that he's gave me. I will try and blog more often just in case someone is actually reading this.

Where'd I Go??

Sorry it's been so long I've just been really busy lately. Let's see, I'm now officially 35 days smoke free (thank you, thank you) and I feel great. It's amazing how good I feel. I feel like a different person. I feel healthier. Anyways, Kylie started walking a few weeks ago and it is amazing. She is only 10 months old. Kenzie didn't start walking until she was around 11 to 12 months. Kylie is changing everyday. Having kids is one of the hardest things I've ever done but I wouldn't change it for the world. Having kids is really hard on your marriage because you don't have as much alone time but having kids is amazing. I love my girls with all my heart. Kenzie is still crazy. She's done with dance for awhile. She says she wants to be in preschool and baseball rather then dance so we'll see what happens. I've been playing golf quite a bit lately and let me just tell you how much fun it has been. I forgot how fun it is. I played a little in high school but stopped after I graduated. It is def. becoming a new addiction. Anyways I'll try and post some pics of some different stuff later....

Sorry for the time away....

It's been awhile since the last post but alot has gone on since then. I had a nice Memorial Day weekend other then the fact I worked all weekend. I did get to see my family which is always nice. I wish I could see them more. Other then that I've just been working alot lately. I've been sick the last few days with a sinus infection and Kenzie has strep throat so that sucks. Anyways, I'll post more later today or tomorrow on my thoughts on last night's game (GO LAKERS!!!).

Pathetic!!

Photobucket

Ok after watching the game on Sunday I learned a few things.

1. If Lebron had good teammates. He would definitly be in the running for the championship EVERY year.

2. Paul Pierce is definitly one of the most underrated players in the league.

Lebron scored 45 of the cavs 92 points. The next highest scorer was Delonte West at 15. The other so called "Role" players on the Cavs (Wallace, Ilgauskas, and Szczerbiak) had 11 points combined. 11 POINTS COMBINED! That is really pathetic. If Lebron James had at least somewhat better teammates he'd be in the running every year. Especially in the Eastern Conference. The only reason they make it as far as they do is Lebron James.

Another thing I learned is Paul Pierce (or P Squared for all us hoop heads) doesn't get half the credit he deserved. He really stepped it up in that game and willed the Celtics to a win.

Witness!!

Long Long Weekend

Ok sorry I haven't posted in a while. We had a very long weekend. WE went up north for my daughter's dance competition at Lagoon. It was a lot of fun. Kenzie did so good. I can't beleieve she remembered all the steps to her dance. She has such a good memory for her age. She danced at 9:00 am so we had the rest of the day to play around in Lagoon. It was so much fun riding the rides with my wife. It really wears you out when you hang out in the sun all day. Then when we got home I had to work the last 3 days but now I'm off till Monday so hopefully I can keep up on this.

Smoker

Ok So yesterday didn't go to well. Alot of stuff happened at work and I didn't make it. But so far today.....I have not had one drag off of a smoke. And I feel great. It seems like when I smoke I feel all bogged down. I'm not hungry and it makes me feel groggy. So far so good...we'll see how the rest of the day goes.

Midlife crisis already.....

Ok so I've finally come to grips with the fact I really barely have enough time to watch sports let alone blog about them so now I'm just going to talk about me and my boring life. Lately, life has been so crazy. It seems like all I do is work. And it doesn't help matters when you absolutely hate your job (if you haven't caught on yet I really do HATE my job). I don't have any interest in cars and I really don't have any interest in helping people fix their cars. I've also been struggling with the whole smoking thing. Just a little bit of advice for everyone if you haven't started smoking DO NOT start now. I've smoked since I was 15 and this is seriously the hardest thing I've ever tried quitting. I really don't even enjoy smoking. I hate the smell, I hate the way it makes me feel, I hate buying them. The only reason I like to smoke is the habit of doing it. I just really want to quit. It seems like after having kids I've really given a lot of thought to a temple marriage. I have a really close friend who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he has a 13 yr old son and I can't imagine how he feels knowing he's going to have to say goodbye to his son. I don't even want to think about saying goodbye to my kids. I really feel like a temple marriage is something I can achieve it's just going to take some work and the first step is quitting smoking. Tomorrow is the day my friends. After today I will be smoke free.......To Be Continued!

Ok Ok did you think I disappeared?

Ok I've been slacking off lately. I hurt my back at work and a whole bunch of other nasty stuff happened. Anyways, I don't want to bore you with the details. Later today I will hit you with my first thoughts of the NBA playoffs. Later......

Well I got that one wrong...

Wow, was I wrong. Kansas deserved to win that game. They kept their composure and never gave up. They did a good job of shutting Derrick Rose down. It's really ironic that Coach Calipari said through-out the season that free throws weren't a big deal and that ended up being what lost the game for Memphis. This is going to be a hard lose for the Memphis Tigers to get over. They had the win in the bag and blew it at the end. Congratulations goes out to the Kansas Jayhawks.

National Championship Game

NCAA

Ok Up first I thought I'd discuss the much hyped game tonight (it is Monday right now) between Memphis and Kansas. Now my bracket was trash a long time ago but I'm still really excited for this game. I truly believe Derrick Rose needs to have a HUGE game if Memphis wants to beat Kansas. Memphis has been the underdog this whole season so it shouldn't make a difference to them that they're the underdogs once again. It's funny how everyone thought Memphis wasn't as good as their record showed because they were in a weaker conference. I believe Derrick Rose is the best college player this year and he'll truly shine in the game tonight. Let's not forget about Kansas though. In order for Kansas to win they need to take care of the ball. Kansas had alot of turnovers (19) against UNC and if they have anywhere near that against Memphis they can kiss their hopes for a national championship goodbye. Kansas also needs to stop Derrick Rose in order to win. No one has been able to stop him so far so I have a hard time believing that things will change. I believe Derrick Rose will have a huge game and Memphis will go home with the national title.

Starting out....

Ok I've always wanted to start a blog so I thought now was a perfect time. This blog is mostly going to be about sports but I'll probably get sidetracked and talk about a whole lot more. First off anyone reading probably knows about me so I don't think it's necessary to go into my past, present, and future. I'll try to blog more tonight but if I don't find time my first "real" blog will be posted tomorrow. Until then......
